Barastoc Rabbit and Guinea Pig Pellet is a pelleted feed for supplementary feeding of pet rabbits and guinea pigs.
Barastoc Rabbit and Guinea Pig Pellet is designed to be fed as a supplementary feed to hay, chaff, fruits and vegetables. It contains a palatable and nutritious blend of cereal grains and fresh lucerne as well as a mineral and vitamin supplement to provide a balanced diet. Vitamin C is added to the feed to ensure the health and well being of Guinea Pigs. Adimix is included to aid digestive health. Barastoc Rabbit and Guinea Pig Pellet also contains Yucca Schidigera extract – a natural odour absorbing ingredient to reduce the ammonia smell from pet housing.
Barastoc Rabbit and Guinea Pig Pellet is a complete and balanced diet formulated specifically for commercial breeding, lactation and growth of rabbits. It is also suitable for rabbits that are kept as pets.
Barastoc Rabbit and Guinea Pig Pellet is a pelleted feed which means easy handling, and minimal wastage.
FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
Barastoc Rabbit and Guinea Pig Pellet should be fed at a rate that makes up approximately 50% by weight of a Rabbit or Guinea Pigs total diet. Ensure that generous amounts of hay or chaff are offered to your pet and that it is replenished regularly – eating hay or chaff is important for a balanced diet, and to provide fibre for a healthy digestive system. Provide a range of roughly chopped vegetables and fruits, fresh each day, for a balanced and healthy diet.
Ensure that a plentiful supply of fresh, clean water is available at all times.
FEEDING RATES:
Guinea Pigs:
Growing Guinea Pigs – Feed 4 grams of Barastoc Rabbit and Guinea Pig Pellet per 100 grams of body weight per animal per day.
Adult Guinea Pigs (700-750 gram body weight) – Feed 20 to 40 grams of Barastoc Rabbit and Guinea Pig Pellet per animal per day.
Rabbits:
Dry Does and Bucks – Feed 100 grams of Barastoc Rabbit and Guinea Pig Pellet per animal per day.
Pregnant Does – Feed 160 grams of Barastoc Rabbit and Guinea Pig Pellet per animal per day.
Lactating Does – feed 350 grams per animal per day, or feed to appetite from kindling (birthing), of Barastoc Rabbit and Guinea Pig Pellet.
