FEEDING RECOMMENDATIONS
The daily feeding rate of Alpaca Blend will vary depending on a number of factors such as body weight and condition, stage of pregnancy, level of milk production and quality of the roughage being fed. As a general guide an alpaca’s daily dry matter intake will vary between 2% and 3 % of their body weight and consist of roughage, such as pasture or hay and a supplement like Alpaca Blend.
Alpaca Blend can be fed between 0.75% to 1.5% of body weight per day and should be introduced gradually along with good quality roughage such as hay, chaff or pasture until the desired amount is reached.
Do not make sudden changes to feeding rates as digestive problems may occur. If digestive problems occur, substantially reduce or cease the amount of Alpaca Blend being fed and increase the roughage source until normal digestive activity returns.
This feed has been manufactured specifically for animals as described, do not feed to any other species of animal.
INGREDIENTS
Alpaca Blend is formulated from a selection of the following ingredients:
Barley, wheat, triticale, sorghum, oats, peas, lupins, beans, soyabean, canola, sunflower and by-products derived from these ingredients. Vegetable oil, fat, molasses, dicalcium phosphate, rock phosphate, limestone, salt, acid buf and an antioxidant.
